The Heater Doors
The visual experience is dependent on the ability to see the fire. Our masonry stoves all feature cast-iron doors with heat resistant ceramic glass. This means the fire is fully visible and it further reinforces the feeling of a classic open fireplace.
The doors feature an air system that brings preheated air in through the door frame delivering oxygen to the bottom of the fire as well as to the top of the firebox, allowing for secondary combustion and remarkably clean burn. Air wash system keeps the glass clean. The doors are also available with an external air supply ducting, or a computer controlled automated venting system. For technology and catalog see here
We also supply high quality cast iron doors that are designed specifically to withstand high temperatures of certain types of masonry heaters. Download brochure The cast iron doors are made in Finland, where masonry heaters are traditionally used in 90 % of new build properties.
