Turnastone

This cookstove was built as part of a workshop in October 2014 in Turnastone. The workshop lasted 9 days and six participants attended from England, Wales and Ireland. The cookstove design was based on Scandinavian models and has a ceramic cook top, pizza oven, plate warmers, heated bench and a hot water heat exchanger for an upstairs radiator.  The stove was faced with reclaim brick from an old local inn. Part of the stove was finished with lime hemp render. The bench was capped with slate. Local sandstone was used for ornamental shelving. Gallery from the build coming soon.
